The day's route — only with permission
Where someone went today: journeys, stops and how long they stayed. Everyone always sees their own history; the family only if the person allows it.
When it helps
An answer to “how was your day?”
A new way to school
For the first few weeks it's reassuring to see the route has become routine.
Dad lost his wallet
Where did he stop today? The day's timeline will tell you.
Your own day, for you
How far you walked, where you've been — your own history is always visible to you.
How it works
Honest: no made-up roads
- 1
The phone records sparingly
Often on the move, rarely when the person stays in one place. That saves battery.
- 2
The day becomes a timeline
Journeys and stops — with how long and the addresses.
- 3
Where the location wasn't known — a dashed line
We don't draw a road where the phone didn't know where it was. An honest gap is better than an invented route.
- 4
The family sees it only with permission
A switch in “Profile”, off by default. For a child it's on — and the child can see that.
Honestly about the limits
What we keep, and for how long
- Precise points — one day onlyAfter that, only the day's timeline remains.
- The day's timeline2 days on the free plan (7 in the first week), 30 days on YouPoint Pro and Max.
- The person only shares their area? Then the history is by area too — no precise addresses.

Questions
About history
Who sees my history?
You — always. The family — only if you've turned it on in “Profile” → “History and live mode”.
Why is the line dashed?
The phone didn't know the location there — for example, in the underground or when the battery ran out. We don't make up a road.
Can I delete my history?
Yes — together with your account: “Profile” → “Account”. You can also download a copy of your data there.
